GMS Laboratories does soil testing for the local agricultural community in Central Illinois. They needed to replace their old DOS based customer database system and synchronize data from their MS Access database and other systems that were not integrated. They had to manually keep these database systems synchronized through repetitive data-entry on a daily basis. Finally they wanted a secure way for customers to make and receive order from their public website.

Solution

By analyzing GMS’s current business systems and processes, our team proposed a complete back office system that would integrate all data and manual systems into one centralized web-based application. We used modern web technologies to rapidly build an intuitive, functional, and powerful business tool that each of their staff and all of their customers would feel comfortable using by using a tool they use every day — a web browser.
